Lil Wayne was arrested on July 22, 2007 in New York after his tour bus was pulled over by police when they smelled pot. According to the report, when an officer approached the bus, Lil Wayne tossed a bag with the gun inside. Lil Wayne is expected to get 1 year behind bars.
Lil Wayne is still facing a felony drug possession and weapons charge in Arizona after police found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of ecstasy and a handgun on his tour bus back in 2008. Lil Wayne has pled not guilty to all the charges. The trial is expected to start March 2010.
